Anna Stockwell is a food stylist, recipe developer, writer, and video host. Before going freelance, she was a senior food editor for Epicurious and Bon Appétit. While at Epicurious, Anna hosted a popular weekly Instagram story called “At Home With Anna” and developed more weeknight dinner recipes than she can count—you can find them all here. She has also worked at Saveur and has experience cooking in the test kitchens of Every Day With Rachael Ray, Real Simple, and more. Anna holds a degree in classic culinary arts from the International Culinary Center, and a BA in Philosophy from Bates College. After over a decade of Brooklyn living, she now lives with her boyfriend and two cats in New York’s Hudson Valley, where she is learning how to garden.
Anna has an intuitive sense for how to create beautiful surroundings and how to make people comfortable. Her recipes and food styling are approachable and flexible, and always appealing. She believes that meals are not just about the food, but also about the ambiance, the company, and the conversation, and all should be as enjoyable and fun as possible.
